Marketing Manager - Movers & Shakers

In this position of Marketing manager your will implement the corporate strategy and build on the brand awareness for the Benelux organisation of this innovative Company with many own retail stores & wholesale partners.

Tasks and responsibilities of the Marketing Manager for the Benelux:

  • Instore communication activities
  • Introduction of all new product innovations
  • Promotion activities incl. event- and brand activation activities
  • Manage the PR activities & Social Media
  • Building the customer database
  • National partnerships – B2B & B2C
  • Marketing year plans at the wholesale accounts
  • Manage the main Marketing & Communications processes between head office and local teams
  • Manage the translation and copy checks of all communication materials
  • Planning and coordination of the promotions calendar, link between the central communication department and the stores and the other way around
  • Initiating and organizing consumer activation events to build brand awareness, brand experience and in the end; to stimulate traffic to the sales points
  • Implementation and control of merchandising guidelines by regular visits to all stores
  • Manage and support the PR agency by coordination of all PR activities and required PR materials
  • Responsible for building the customer database and responsible for multichannel marketing (online and offline)
  • Initiating local promotions and events for the Clients

  • Quality of all communication materials
  • Promotions, event marketing and traffic generation activities for the stores and counters
  • State of the art press activities
  • Social media activities, Up-to date website and growing customer database
  • Local MDC (marketing) budget

Position of the Marketing Manager within the organisation:
The Marketing Manager reports to the Country Director and functionally reports to the Global Marketing Director and provides support to all area and counter managers of the stores and shop-in-shops (local marketing & b2b) 


  • Minimally Bachelors degree in marketing or communication
  • 6-10 years of working experience in a retail environment (cosmetics, fashion & lifstyle experience is a big pré)
  • Affinity with cosmetics in general
  • Strong Communication skills (in writing and speaking)
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and preferred French
  • Excellent PC skills with Excel, Powerpoint, Word
